Author Corner: Let’s talk With Brigitta Visser, Author of “Be-Coming Authentically Me”

Brigitta Visser is a non-fiction author with amazing story of her own life journey she is here to remind you your own soul power. Brigitta is a Soul Empowering Coach and Light Language Healer. Let’s not do much ado on it and jump into the point, I got a chance to take an interview with her and it was a truly profound experience to talk with her; so lets hear about her book from her own voice.

1. Can you tell us a bit about yourself and your background as a writer?

Hmmmm, am I truly a writer? That question has lingered in my mind for some time. Though I’ve never considered myself much of an author, my spiritual guides – including ascended masters, archangels, and other beings of light – have repeatedly directed me to pick up the pen. At first, I hesitated. Me, write inspiring works that might awaken humanity? It seemed too daunting a task. But I’ve learned that when inspiration calls, you must answer the call.

So, I began putting words to paper, planting seeds of thought and hoping they might blossom in readers’ minds. My first solo book details an enlightening spiritual sojourn in India that I know will captivate and inspire. Even more exciting is the forthcoming publication of “Becoming Empowered,” a collaborative book I co-created with 14 other phenomenal female authors. Our hope is that by sharing our stories of overcoming trauma and living empowered, fulfilled lives, we can motivate and inspire others to walk the path that sings true to the song in their own hearts.

Though I never pictured myself an author, I now embrace the role with open arms. My writing is a channel for the uplifting wisdom of my guides to reach humanity. When inspiration strikes, I let it flow freely through me onto the page. I find great fulfilment in crafting words that might help others heal, practice forgiveness, and feel at home in their own skin. The writing life chose me, and I’m honoured to answer its call.

 2. Was there any Eureka moment when this book happened to you?

There was a moment during the Covid lockdowns when it all came together. As fear pumped through the veins of society, the notion that we were allergic to each other, that our very breath was poisonous to one another, I knew something wasn’t right. Fear is merely that smooth criminal in our minds that thieves around in our head, stealing our joy, and keeping us trapped within the dogma of the artificial matrix. The truth is, the greatest medicine cabinet resides within each of us – we are alchemists, and hold more power than we’ve been led to believe. It seems there are those that want to keep us small-minded, rather than awakened to our true potential.

I had started writing this book back in 2000, but it took many more traumatic experiences in my life before I could finish it. It was as if my guides in the spirit realm sat me down and said “It’s time.” So, in between my full-time job, I due diligently wrote into the wee hours of the morning – called by a higher purpose to spread this message now. The double whammy of Covid fear and divine inspiration converged to finally birth this book out into the world.

 3. Your book explores the theme of pressure of life’s struggle due to a whirlwind of circumstances. What motivated you to delve into soul empowering subject?

Our whirlwind of life experiences can leave us feeling disempowered and swayed by the opinions of others. But we all have an inner light waiting to be rekindled. Even after trauma, abuse, loss, heartbreak – the darkness tries to snuff out our spark. Yet we each hold the power to reignite our inner flame and return to our true selves.

My journey has taken me down many dark roads. From childhood abuse to cutthroat industries, bullying, grief, harmful relationships. I starved myself for years, giving my power away, fearing the gaze of hurting others. But the beauty of the soul always finds a way back home.

Now I nurture that light within. No longer abandoning myself or succumbing to darkness. The path to empowerment comes from within. We must tend to our spirits, reject external labels, silence our inner gremlins. When we reconnect to our essence, we can rise from the ashes stronger and brighter.

The light remains, if only we fan the flames. Even when the world tries to extinguish our inner glow, we each hold the power to return to love, wisdom and wholeness. Our spirits can never be truly broken, no matter how fierce the winds that whip against us. There is always a way back to our highest selves.

 4. Do you prefer to outline your book’s purpose beforehand or let them evolve as you write?

Everyone is different. When I put pen to paper, I do not rely solely on my own mind to guide the words. Rather, I open myself as a vessel for the wisdom and inspiration of the many archangels, ascended masters and light beings who work through me. The purpose and message of my writing reveals itself in the flow of the process, evolving moment to moment as I transcribe the guidance I receive. I act as a channel, allowing sacred knowledge to pour through me. My conscious mind steps aside so the writing may emerge from a higher plane, imbued with truth from celestial realms. I do not outline or plan ahead, trusting fully that divine inspiration will speak through my pen, besides jotting down my own experiences of course. Many words come straight from Source, whispering ancient secrets and eternal truths. As I write, higher consciousness awakens within me too, illuminating my inner sight besides being very healing for me as well.

 5. What is the most powerful aspects of the writing process brought you the most satisfaction or joy?

Writing is the journey of the soul. With each word, we peel back the layers of our inner world, exposing our truths. Though the path is never straight forward, writing guides us home. We put pen to paper and let our stories unfold. I write to make sense of this human experience, to alchemise the unhealed pain into wisdom. With every sentence, we are healing. And isn’t that why we write? To mend the broken parts and transform what once hurt us. Writing stitches the fragments back together, makes us whole. It is the mirror we hold up to our innermost selves, showing us the way forward. Yes, writing is healing. And healing is writing. They are one and the same.

 6. Tell us about your reading, can you give us, 3 of your favourite books. Did they play any role to shape up your writing?

My reading tastes are as eclectic as the universe itself! I can’t narrow it down to just three favourites, as the list of beloved books is truly endless. But I’ll give you a little sample to whet your appetite.

First up is The Alchemist, that timeless tale of self-discovery by Paulo Coelho. Its pages contain wisdom that speaks right to my soul. Unveiled Mysteries by Godfré Ray King offers esoteric truths that expand my consciousness with each read. And the mystical masterpieces The Kybalion and Emerald Tablet unveil secrets of the cosmos cloaked in metaphors yet filled with infinite simplistic wisdom.

Beyond those, The Essenes by Wilson and Rebecca Hazlitt illuminates a spiritual community lost to time, discussing the life of Jesus as a human being, and the healing with crystal grids, which is vastly different to the created dogma as written in the bible, while One Last Time by John Edward communicates messages from beyond the veil, and is a real tear jerker.

Each book has given me new perspectives on this wild, weird, and wonderful adventure called life. Their words are portals to unseen dimensions, helping me understand that there is so much more to this existence than our earthly eyes perceive. These books didn’t just entertain me – they expanded my reality.

 7. What message do you expect that your readers get that from your book.

Life is calling. Life is a journey of self-discovery and empowerment. Can you hear it? Like a gentle whisper, it beckons you to embark on a journey of discovery. One where you peel back the layers and uncover your true, radiant essence.

We often allow our painful experiences to overshadow our lives, dimming our inner glow, living in a far greater dis-ease then necessary.

With courage and hope fuelling your path, you can transform hardship into wisdom. Shed the extra baggage weighing you down. And trade in limitation for limitless possibility. The wholeness you seek lies not without, but within. All that’s needed is your willingness to walk forward with an open heart.

We only need to take back the reins and steer our lives toward truth. By owning our power, living in integrity, returning to that love for ourselves, we can recover the wholeness within and shine brilliantly once more. The journey begins when we choose to walk forward with courage and hope.

This book is your invitation to live life in all its essence, understanding that life is an experiment for us to experience. Say yes to the journey of self-discovery, and see how beautifully life may unfold for you.

 8. Tell us about any particular memorable incidents while writing the book. It could be sad or fun or anything emotional, writing indeed an emotional journey, so anything happened during this that you would like to share with our readers?

The writing journey was filled with light and laughter, thanks to my celestial co-authors. The ascended masters and archangels brought an eccentric charm to our collaboration. St. Germain in particular kept things entertaining with his quirky wit – he was my constant companion throughout the process. Even during the dark times when I struggled to pull myself out of my own drama, he helped me see the humour and find my inner healing genie, to get me out of my heavy head.

Working through traumatic experiences was difficult yet cathartic. But with my cosmic co-writers by my side, infusing each page with their understanding energies, the heaviness lifted. The masters and angels gave me a new perspective, helping me understand life’s tests are merely experiences to grow from.

Writing this book introduced me to the funny side of life itself. What may seem like burdens to carry are actually chances to expand consciousness. With the ascended masters’ and archangels’ loving support, our shared journey was filled with light. Their eccentric charm kept me smiling through it all.

And that’s a wrap on this awesome session with Brigitta. To know about her journey as a writer was a surreal experience. The interview reminding own power and courage, love yourself, Be coming Authentically Me is your own journey towards embracing life whole heartedly.
