Festivals are a time for a new beginning, the ending of the old lifestyle, and taking care of ourselves and friends, perhaps a new start has been awaiting your heart and soul. This book will make you believe in positivity in the festive season, it will make you fall in love with Christmas, believe in the crispy new snowfall, believe in yourself, and learn that it is us who can make our life beautiful.

Christmas in Crystal Bay is a heartwarming beautiful story by Bina Sparks. It starts with Amanda’s broken relationship with a narcissistic man, there is even more, it’s a narcissist brother-sister duo. Very well-crafted narcissist behavior exploring all the red flags and constantly making realize that everything was Amanda’s fault and she has more than what she deserves, which is a favorite game of narcissist person to make you realize you are not worthy of love. Amanda realizes it’s enough, now it’s time to move on.

Amanda left London and went back to her home town Cristal Bay, back to her family. It’s Christmas at the threshold and Amanda’s life is completely shattered; in search of a new life, she left her dream career as a ballet dancer. She is tired of calamity in her personal life, exhausted with the ballet practice which was constantly ruining her health, and her body. But another family dynamic and a beautiful new beginning are waiting for her.

In this part of the book author very skillfully portrays jealousy between sisters, a mother who wants to see her daughter make the same mistakes as she did, I wonder if Amanda’s mother subconsciously felt the complicated desire or if it was her conscious wish, yes mother can posses jealousy with daughter’s practical thinking ability, their headstrong characteristic power, it’s a truth. And I am glad Amanda has a real caring brother and everyone in this family has love underneath their hardness, it’s a psychological comfort that only a family can give you.

I liked Trepper, the beautiful childhood friendship between Amanda and Trepper was portrayed neatly. His character infuses a smile every time he appears in story. Trepper comes in this novel like a crispy change, a fresh new wind, and little did Amanda know that Trepper is the one who will bring joy into her life, who will be the reason for meeting with Connor O Riley and inspiration to start her new business.

This is a feel-good, mood-uplifting book, no less than a movie.
Self-love is a sublime concept in this carefully crafted novel which revolves around family dynamics, Bina handled the layers of the emotional journey very smoothly which is praiseworthy making this book vibrant. When Amanda’s elder sister finally shows love when Christmas is knocking at the door, I like that relationship elevation, Bina handled that emotional situation very gracefully, and I felt ecstatic.

I feel Chrissy’s relationship ending was in a rush. What I liked about this novel is character development and their psychological dimensions, the layers in every character peeled off so well that will make readers engaged thoroughly. Bina narrates the plot with impressive pace and lucidity, you will feel the Christmas vibe throughout the book. It’s a very atmospheric gripping storytelling style that invites readers to explore this spirit of Christmas and navigating life with positivity.

This book is filled with emotions, smelling crispy Christmas intertwined with a profundity that makes the book a perfect read for the festive season. It will make you fall in love with Christmas and love yourself. Recommending all who love reading seasonal books and it will boost your personal growth.
